The NEW Palettes from COVERGIRL

My eyes instantly perked up when I first saw a peak of these new palettes from COVERGIRL — isn't the packaging stunning?! There are iv palettes in this collection, starting from the bottom left in the flick above in that location is: COVERGIRL Ascent Eyeshadow Palette, COVERGIRL Overthrown Eyeshadow Palette, COVERGIRL Revolution Eyeshadow Palette, and then in the center with the gold packaging is the COVERGIRL Reign Eyeshadow Palette.

I found these newly-released COVERGIRL palettes at my local Walmart in the Cosmetics department — It was in a fun little "new" brandish right alongside the remainder of the COVERGIRL products. Then side by side time you visit your Walmart, keep your eyes open for these four new palettes!

Feel free to click through to each of the links above to get a close expect at the palettes and encounter the shades inside, merely for today's tutorial I am going to be focusing on the COVERGIRL Reign Eyeshadow Palette. If you know me, and so you know those pops of colors instantly caught my centre! So permit's hop into the tutorial and I'll bear witness you how easy it is to create a dramatic, colorful makeup look that'll take y'all looking like royalty for any occasion!

Piece of cake & Colorful Tutorial

I used several COVERGIRL products in my tutorial and for my makeup that mean solar day, but the tutorial is simply going to focus on the center makeup — and for that (every bit I already stated) we are using the COVERGIRL Reign Eyeshadow Palette. I was really excited to see what type of look I could create with these fun colors!

Pictured here are all of the shades I used in the look today. If yous've been following me for a while now…you know I had to utilise all the pops of colors I could for this royalty-inspired eyeshadow expect! The thing I loved about this colorful eyelook, though, was that it wasn't as well crazy with the color. It all flowed very cohesively and elegantly together.

Step 1: Prime

First kickoff off by priming your eyes, however you prefer. I have very oily eyelids, then I always like to get the actress mile when it comes to this stride. The more than I exercise to prep my eyes, the better my eyeshadow lasts throughout the twenty-four hours. And so for this 24-hour interval I used a eyeshadow primer (COVERGIRL Lid Lock Up is a proficient one) and a comfy concealer on elevation (COVERGIRL has several concealers to choose from that are available at your local Walmart).

Step two: Blend Purple Into Crease & Outer Corner

I took a fluffy blending brush and blended the regal shade "Forever Yours" into my crease, really taking my time to get a seamless blend up toward my browbone.

Then I switched to a more dumbo, packing brush and built information technology up in my outer corner.

Step 3: Crease a Half Cut Pucker

This step is optional — if yous don't want to do it, you lot can just spray your brush and yous'll get a similar look. But I love a half cut crease, personally, and so I went alee and used the aforementioned concealer that I used for my base to cut the crease with a pocket-size, apartment concealer brush.

Step iv: Pack on Chapeau Shade

Taking the shade "Coin Maker" I packed that on top of my cut crease and stopped just earlier the concealer faded into the regal.

Step 5: Apply Transition

I used the shade "Dignified" to help with the alloy from the gold into the regal. This shade has a lot of gold in it, so I would definitely recommend tapping off your brush and also spritzing it before applying.

Step 6: Wings & Lower Lash Line

I ever love a expert wing, so of class I had to do one. This footstep is optional as well, but if you lot desire to do it and need a recommendation, the COVERGIRL Get in Line Liquid Liner is a nice ane! And so I applied a blackness gel liner and took the shade "High Life" on a pocket-size pencil castor and smudged it along my lower lash line. Information technology didn't have any piece of work at all — this shade was pigmented!

Step vii: Inner Corner Highlight

To stop out the eyeshadow I took the shade "Crowned" and applied it on the inner corner of my center for a dainty reflective highlight.

Step 8: Mascara

To cease out the eye expect I just applied a few coats of mascara! Here I am using the COVERGIRL Lash Boom Active Mascara for both my top and bottom lashes.

Step 9: Apply Your Perfect Nude

For this look I picked out the COVERGIRL Melting Pout Matte lipstick in the shade "Champagne Showers". It'southward a nice nude for my skintone with but a bit of bully/pinkish to make information technology popular.

There's Your Simple and Colorful Look!

That'southward all at that place is to this look — super colorful and fun, yet extremely simple and easy to do! I didn't brand any edits to these pictures — all are how they were taken, straight from my camera! What exercise you think of the finished look?? Would y'all wear this somewhere?

I tin can't wait to hear what you recall of this wait — and of course what y'all call up of these new palettes from COVERGIRL! Which color story or palette bundle pattern are you eyeing the most? Brand sure y'all cheque them out in the beauty aisle the next time yous visit your local Walmart stores!
